Communications
Good Relationship Builders
Our District communications efforts are all about relationship building, inside and outside our school district. We each play a part because we are all communicators, formally and informally, every day.
The communications department is here to support the District in public relations, media relations, brand management, internal communications, issues management, and promotions. We also equip staff in our schools and departments to communicate professionally, clearly and consistently. This website is a hub for communications tools our staff use every day to communicate through a variety of mediums. Regular training opportunities happen throughout each school year in addition to these resources. If you have any questions or needs, please contact the communications department.
Éy swáyel. We acknowledge that the Abbotsford School District is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Semá:th First Nation and Mathxwí First Nation. With this, we respect the longstanding relationships that Indigenous Nations have to this land, as they are the original caretakers.
