District Colours
Consistent use of our colours is critical to a clear and recognizable identity for our district and schools. Think about sports teams, for example. You know them by their colours even if you don’t see their mascot or symbol. The same holds true for our corporate identity.

District Primary Colours
The district’s corporate identity uses two primary colours: cyan and grey. These colours appear in the logo and are used across design elements and backgrounds.
Cyan brings a clear, modern look and helps create a sense of openness. Grey provides balance and supports readability. Together, these colours create a consistent and recognizable visual style across the district.

Because colour appearance varies by substrate, always request a printed sample before production to ensure the result matches expectations.
District Secondary Colours
The secondary palette of colours for the District provides similarly toned colours such as green or mustard but also some bright, contrasting tones in orange and magenta. A darker blue is an accent that is used in font subheads and layout elements.

Accessibility and Contrast (for Text and Logos)
For accessibility, text and logos must have sufficient contrast with their background. Strong contrast ensures readability for everyone, while low contrast can make content difficult or impossible to read. Some colour combinations may only meet accessibility standards for larger text, while others are not recommended at all. Always check contrast before finalizing designs to ensure compliance and clarity.
Always ensure the logo and hashtag are shown with strong contrast and on approved background colours. The correct versions (left) maintain readability and brand integrity. The incorrect versions (right) use low contrast, unapproved colours, or backgrounds that reduce legibility, and should be avoided.
